Washington, DC 20008     WCR hosts Chef, Author & ‘Renegade Lunch Lady’ Ann Cooper at Restaurant Nora on Friday, October 6th from 1:30-3:30pm, for her national book tour featuring her latest release - Lunch Lessons: Changing the Way We Feed Our Children (Collins, 09/06).   Throughout the years, Ann Cooper has transformed thousands of children’s school lunches into regional, organic, seasonal and sustainable meals. Her continued success in developing educational programs and innovative strategies in schools helps to provide more fresh and organic lunches to all students. Join while we hear from Ann Cooper about her latest book, Lunch Lessons: Changing the Way We Feed Our Children, which provides parents and school administrators with the ideas and successful case studies to evolve their school into a educational program of wellness.   Ann Cooper will participate in a book signing during the event.  A copy of her new book is included with the registration fee.  Light refreshments will be provided.
